When loving becomes eventually losing self it practically refers to emotional abuse. A partner may systematically diminish and destroy the inner self of another. This is but step one to control and potential violence which women shall be careful because this is the one that’s most difficult to identify and prove. When dating try to determine where this yes or no from him is leading to and what it is making us. The caring is almost perfect but then somehow deep inside we know something is dying. Try to measure self confidence and see if the loving has made any progress on it.

            Controlling behaviors is one great feature of a batterer. Refusing partner’s independence in personal decisions, determine personal appearance, freedom to spend money, and saying or doing things that makes you feel bad about yourself just serves what it takes to be traveling to the sphere of complete isolation. Remember, when we love someone, we don’t want to control them but we do want them to achieve something in life and make progress with their respective careers.

            If we see that the opposite is happening then I guess it will be time to caution the dating and the calls. There are times when women grab on the feeling and resist facing the fact that she is losing her self. Of course we have to manage our feelings as we have to manage ourselves. Never resist the loving it will break your heart. Only ask yourself if this is how it’s going to be until I am old and at a disadvantage?
