Proper disposal of your documents is very important especially when it concerns your bank accounts and financial documents. Proper waste disposal works toward protecting personal information rather than just crumpling it and tossing it in the trash. If you don't have a shredder at least you have to personally burn it or manually shred important information to pieces. Scam, spammers and criminals need only little information from you to apply for credit cards, bank accounts or utility accounts.

It would also be wise to write your important information in one small notebook just in case something happens your family is able to trace whatever work you are doing and whatever accounts or business you are maintaining. Keep your notebook in a safe place. This includes your passwords for your email. Make it handy so in case something happens to you, it would be easier to send a message to your contacts. It's good to sleep with no worries if you follow proper waste disposal.
